Some recent pictures...

Okay... I have not been great at taking my camera with us lately, but have managed to take some cute pictures with my cell phone...

 Morning Walk 

 Hudson's favorite place in the house... standing on the couch looking out the window

 Watching a show. Backyardigans are still his favourite, but these days he is also liking the Fresh Beat Band... anything with music!

 We went to the toy store with Hudsons Nonna (my mom) and he took every car he could find in the store and arranged them like this. He was so excited he even lost a shoe.

 My Loves 

 Hudsons favorite thing to do is go to the park. There is one just down the street from us and it has a huge patch of grass which Hudson loves to run and run in. Mommy likes this to because it means long naps, and late mornings!

 Hudson got a knot on his forehead from tripping and falling into his crib (he and Lola were chasing each other). He is such a happy boy even when injured!

Playing at Home // 14 Months

Hudson has settled into our new home quite nicely. He loves to run in and out of different rooms. I keep a box of toys in each room, and he feels like he is discovering new toys every time he finds them! He talks and talks all day. Most of it we can't understand yet, but he does have a few words. He says "What's that?", "What's this?", "bye", "hi", "baby", "Dada", and "Momma" (only when he is in his crib and wants me though). He still LOVES to dance, and still loves the Backyardigans. Nona and Papa came to babysit for the first time so we could go out. Hudson did awesome and didn't cry once! and was sound asleep when we got home! .... So these pictures are from today. Hudson still loves his train. He spends hours pushing it around the house. His new thing is he wants to put things in his train and then drive it around. He gets pretty frustrated when things fall out of the train. I love to watch his little concentrating face. He is so smart and learning so fast!

We're Back!

It's been a busy month for our family. We moved from all the way from Canada to Tennessee. It was really hard to say goodbye to friends and family in Canada (and weather), but we are excited for what God has for us here. We are close to my (Jesse) family which has been awesome. Hudson loves his Papa and Nona, Uncles, Aunts and his little cousin Jude. Haven't done much but unpack so far and then I got strep throat over the weekend. So, finally today we got out and went to the park. As you can see from the pictures, Hudson is running around. He had so much fun today, but he mostly just wanted to go touch the wheels of any car he saw. Did I mention thats his biggest obsession? Wheels. On anything. Pretty cute. I will save my updates for Hudson's 14 month (crazy!) post.
