Hudson and his cousin Jude went to see Santa today. It was about an hour long wait for about 30 seconds of sheer terror. Makes for a priceless photo though!

Road Trip. 21 Months.

Last week we Jon had some shows on the East Coast, so we decided to make a little road trip out of it. We went from here all the way to New York, stopping in Virginia, Washington DC, Boston and New Jersey. Hudson did really well in the car. It required lots of Backyardigans and the movie Cars over and over, but what ever it takes! He was loving life on the road. Got to stay up late every night, and meet lots of new people. He loved watching the music, and would dance for 2 hours straight right next to the speaker if I let him. In New York he got to meet lots of Aunt, Uncles and cousins for the first time. I'm so proud of how well he adjusted to a different routine. This age is so much fun, and so SO busy. We are definitely working on boundaries right now, and I have a feeling we will be for awhile. Hudson is such a happy boy, and so curious about everything and how it works. He has a strong will and independent, both which I think are good qualities but just learning how to reign him in a bit! Ha. I think thats pretty normal for an almost two year old. All in all, we are loving this age!

Hudson's Foreign Language.

20 Months

Notice there are hardly any pictures of Hudson looking at the camera. This is because the boy doesn't have time for pictures. When he is outside there is so much exploring to do, and when he is indoors its all about HOT WHEELS. I can't believe he is 20 months already. He has so much personality. Always laughing, smiling and making everyone else laugh. He got his first flu last week and it was so sad! You know when Hudson sits still longer than 10 minutes, something's wrong. It lasted about a week, and thank goodness he is better! He doesn't have a ton of words like the baby center emails say he should, but who follows those anyways?! He says "Say-so" for thank you. He says "Bye bye, see ya" about 20 times when leaving a place. Lets see what else... "Bath", "Uh oh", "Puppy", "Papa", "Dada", "Mama", "Sit" "Baba" (bottle), "Whoa whoa whoa whoa"(Apparently he hears that often from me), "Za Car" (the car), "Wee" (the park). He is good at his animal and cars and trains sounds. He loves Thomas the Train.

The Fair

We went to the county fair a few weeks ago. This was a first for both Jon and Hudson. Hudson loved the carousel and Jon loved the fried oreos.
