Father's Day

Sunday was Jon's first father's day. Since Jon usually gets up early with Hudson, we decided to let him sleep extra that day. Then we had a big breakfast, followed by gifts and a walk through the park. Hudson is very blessed to have the best dad in the world.

Uncle Mark & Leah Visit

Hudson's Uncle Mark and his girlfriend Leah came to visit this weekend. This was Hudson's second time meeting them, and he was so happy to have them here!

First Meal!

This was Hudson's first time eating rice cereal. He wasn't too crazy about it at first, but by the second time he had it he opened his mouth in anticipation. So cute. I can't believe my little baby is eating solid food already!

World Cup

Hudson and I watched some of the World Cup this morning. He was really into it, and told me he wanted to cheer for England. I couldn't say no. With all of the kicking this boy does, I think soccer might be in his future. :)

Pool Party

Tuesday was Hudson's first time in his kiddie pool! He was a little unsure at first, but I think he realized it was just a big bathtub outside (he loves his baths). He is such a big boy in his little swimmer diapers. Precious.

Hudson Visits Boston

On Sunday we went to visit our friends Matt and Emily and their baby Boston. Boston is 2.5 months older than Hudson. They've had a couple of fights already, but I think it's just brought them closer together.

This picture was taken right before Hudson tried to take Boston's sippy cup away. Boston was not happy about it, and Hudson thought it was quite funny. He better not grow up to be a bully!

5 months.

Hudson turned 5 months today! I can't believe how big he is already. So much has changed this month. Mostly, he does not stop moving. He doesn't like to sit still for a minute. He tries to crawl, which is more like grabbing the carpet and pulling him self across the room. He now rolls over from his back to his stomach AND his stomach to his back. Oh, and he started to laugh around 4 months, but it was a challenge to actually get him to then. Now he laughs all the time. It's the cutest sound in the world. I am loving this stage right now because he has so much personality, but he is still my little cuddly baby. I could pause here for awhile.

Sunny Day and a Tank Top

Today the sun finally came out. We decided to drive into the city for the day. Hudson loves being out and about, as long as he is moving... whether it be in the Ergo carrier or his stroller. While we were there we went to American Apparel and picked up a few things for him. No one told me that putting your baby in a tank top is pretty much the cutest thing ever.
